Thank you for the response. I made the hole roughly equal to the hollow center where air comes into the fan, i figured that'd be big enough. Thermal protection shut off definitely fits the bill though- not much else makes sense. i guess ill try expanding the hole and see what happens, not using a pre filter. So, after reading over the directions I started to put it together, it only has a few steps, but if there is a way to mess it up, I seem to do just that. It says align the blower tube with the notch on the cordless jet body and slide the two together and then twist the blower tube to lock in place, simple enough right? The draft inducer motor goes on for about 2 seconds then shuts off and then keeps cycling until I shut the furnace off. It has been doing this for three days. My plumber came over and looked at it and after checking some wires it came back on. Then at this point the evaporator coils tend to freeze (sometimes). Then, the blower motor seems to try to run every 10 minutes or so. The blower spins up, runs at a low speed for a few seconds, and turn off again. Eventually, after many attempts the blower fan will kick on and the AC will begin to cool again then rinse and repeat all day. An inducer motor and blower assembly is definitely one of those parts you don’t think about until something has gone wrong with it. The inducer blower assembly consists of a small motor powered by electricity, a fan, an electrical box to allow connections, and a metal sleeve that surrounds the fan assembly.

Sep 13, 2018 · "off" reads on the display. The dryer is making heat while it is running. I checked the vent outside and it is clear. Seems to be a heat buildup issue or something as after it turns off, if you turn it on and start it again, it will not run for more than a few seconds... 72 international scout
The customer says sometimes it starts and shuts off after a few seconds, and sometimes it doesnt start at all. It is set up with 3x lock. I will not have serial number of the unit until tomorrow.Oct 19, 2016 · The batt light goes on and the entire instrument cluster (spedo fuel turbo temp etc ) shuts off .. when it's off the climate control won't work and the sun roof won't work . Sometimes the abs light comes on before it shuts off. Turns on and off intermittently. Most of the time the problem is a melted connector on the blower motor controller, but you changed that one already and would have seen the melted connector. When it fails again, i would try and wiggle a bit with the wiring on the controller and the blower motor itself. Could be a bad contact or an internally broken wire.
